Japan has again opened its doors to the food market of US. The imports of beef from US have resumed again, ending a ban enforced by Japan due to health issues. Japan will accept only boneless beef of animals of age 20 months or younger. Japan inspected the 35 beef processing units of US and found 34 units fit to ship products to Japan. Japan, like many other industrialized countries, had turned its back to conventional diet, supporting the processed food that has little flavor or health benefits.
