Michael Leunig had the goal to show the presence of lie in our every day world. But it turned to be very difficult to do. So, he made up his mind to use such universal technique as repetition. The word âlieâ is repeated many times during the cartoon and it turned to be only one word in the whole show. It is useless to point the word only one time as people usually do not pay attention to it and may just skip it in mind. But if the word will be everywhere, on billboards, clothes, food, newspapers, it have a lot of chances to attract the viewer and to illustrate that lie could be everywhere and to such fact we should pay great attention in order not to be foes.
